Dr. Tim Indahl is the Education Coordinator for Integrated Science Education Outreach (InSciEd Out), at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. InSciEd Out is a collaborative partnership committed to rebuilding K-12 science education for students and providing opportunities for teachers to grow as scientists, engineers, and educators. InSciEd Out’s mission is to engage students and empower teachers through research-based experiential learning rooted in real science and connected to the local communities to close achievement gaps.
Dr. Indahl began his career in the classroom, teaching at various grade levels, from elementary grades through middle school math and science. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Science Education, and an elementary Montessori Certification. He earned his Doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah, and prior to his work at Mayo Clinic was an Assistant Professor at Winona State University in the area of teacher education.
